Application Equipment

Bona Quantum T sausage packs are applied using the Bona Quantum T Applicator Gun — available from Sand-Aid. The applicator gun delivers precise trowel lines directly from the sausage pack, reducing waste and improving speed on large floor areas.

Moisture Barrier Note

Bona states that Quantum T can be used as a combined adhesive and moisture barrier for substrate moisture levels below 95% RH — but this must be completed using the Bona Trowel Plus system. For moisture exceeding this threshold, a dedicated moisture barrier such as Bona R540 Moisture Barrier is required. Contact us if you're unsure which system suits your substrate.

After Installation — Coating Your New Floor

Once Quantum T has cured and the floor has been sanded, the system is ready for priming and coating. For the topcoat, select based on traffic level and spec:

Is Quantum T safe to use indoors?
