Bona Retarder

Bona Retarder is an additive for Bona waterborne floor finishes that extends the wet edge time — slowing the drying rate of the finish to reduce lap marks on large, open-plan floors. Particularly useful in hot, dry conditions where standard finish dry times are shortened and maintaining a wet edge across a wide floor becomes difficult.

• Use: Add to Bona waterborne finishes to extend open time
• When to use: Hot and dry conditions, large floor areas, situations where lap marks are forming
• Compatible with: Bona waterborne topcoats (refer to TDS for specific products and addition rates)
